March Milestones

Bailey took her first steps in March, more like March 20 to be exact! By the 26th she was walking about 3 steps at a time. By the end of March Bailey was eating more and more table foods. Bailey and Samantha both struggled from the pureed baby foods I made to the table foods. Even though both girls highly enjoyed feeding themselves, neither one ate a lot for their 3 main meals. Of course that was always, and still is, a concern for me but like the doctor and everyone else says, "they'll eat when their hungry." March 28th Bailey tried ice cream for the first time, vanilla. She seemed to like it and i'm certain it was fantastic on those gums! March 31st, Bailey climbed into Samantha's bed via step stool and grinned from ear to ear! She was so proud of her accomplishment, however we know have to remove that stool and turn it on its side since Bailey is mobile because she almost fell off Samantha's bed, head first, but mom was there to catch her...barely! yikes!!!

Samantha mastered pedalling her bike this March which means lots of bike rides for the family this summer...awesome!

We also "adopted" a red-ear slider turtle this March. The turtle's name was "buddy" however samantha did not like that name and changed it to Mr. Turtle! The girls love watching it and as of now like to give it "hugs" (hugging the tank) before going to bed at night, it's cute.

March was a busy month but April became busier!
